They are looking at it and not the tv.

If TV programmes about TV programmes thought me anything it's that there's a sweaty chain smoking director in there barking orders to the desk about which camera to switch to. Currently that desk jockey from earlier is packing his desk.

I'm glad I'm watching this live this evening, I've been stung several times by the BBC with their switching of coverage from channel to channel.

Surely couldn't have been a deliberate attempt to take out a rival by Cav, he could have come off worse than anyone he connected with...

Wow, one shoulder to shoulder crash has what exactly to do with this?

I'm telling yis, that director. They've missed several attempts at breaks after the sprint.

Well done to all three medal winners, Viviani getting back up to win gold, Cav and Lasse Hansen worthy podiums... what a race!

As Claire Balding said... the race was "so tense, for so long". Felt like every sprint counted.

I thought Cav might have pushed harder for gold, might he be disappointed? He doesn't look overjoyed.

I suppose hadn't he messed up in the elimination he would have been in a much better place coming in.

It's a fine line between an accident and deliberate action, you see it one way I see it another, I just think he has crossed that fine line a couple of times now, but that's part of what makes him the sprinter he is.

He forced a rider off the track by coming down in a similar fashion (although not as sharp as it was coming onto the straight rather then on the steep bend) to Cav

Track bikes are (OK can be!) very cheap with little to go wrong (until you crash in spectacular fashion!)
