AFAIK the spectator stands are normally on the same side as the camera positions so you don't see them. But yeah, it's obviously more difficult for spectators than something like hockey.

    Lovely TV shots though.

I was up last night watching the swimming and for a bit of interest logged on to PP to see the odds for the 100m freestyle womens final which was about to start. There was 2 sisters in it, australians Campbell sisters, one of whom was overwhelming favourite (1/6) .

Second favourite was Canada's Oleksiak at 10/1. Massive price for a 100m freestyle final in Olympics so I stuck a fiver on for the craic!

Lo and behold! She won..........................but................it was a dead heat! so you get your winnings divided by two! (ie if she had won it would have been 55 quid but I got 27.50!

Nevertheless, it was a nice profit! Made the race a bit more fun also!

well done on getting to the final but they were never in that, a bit of an anti-climax in all honesty, hardly even saw the boat all race

Now for the two lads. They're favourites after the French.
