I am in the middle of an extension to existing dwelling and I want to add a stove to the new living room. For some reason i am unsure about putting a stove flu pipes through a fiberglass flat roof because of the expansion and contraction with cold and heat constantly.
Has anyone done this without any problems.
stove people said it is fine.. other people said no..

I have seen it done (through a fibreglass flat roof) and it worked out fine.

Problem is that I cannot recall the detail of how it was done!

Go with the stove folk, they may want to fit a a small upstand on the roof where the flue comes out before the fg goes on.
    Its very doable
