adding a stove with flue pipes through flat roof

I am in the middle of an extension to existing dwelling and I want to add a stove to the new living room. For some reason i am unsure about putting a stove flu pipes through a fiberglass flat roof because of the expansion and contraction with cold and heat constantly. Has anyone done this without any problems. stove people…

I have seen it done (through a fibreglass flat roof) and it worked out fine.

Problem is that I cannot recall the detail of how it was done!

Go with the stove folk, they may want to fit a a small upstand on the roof where the flue comes out before the fg goes on.
