Just tried to check in online for a flight back next Tuesday. London City to Dublin.

Message says I have to check in at the airport. Is this the usual way with this flight?

No problem if it is, I just wondered if anyone knows.

    Many thanks.

Can happen with a change of aircraft type.

    Airline?

    CityJet or BA?

Ticket sold by Aer Lingus for BA?

If its BA, they have had ongoing IT issues with check in

If it's CityJet you can check-in from 30 hours before your flight. CityJet have check-in machines at London City.

BA online check-in is available 24 hours before your flight so whichever airline you're flying with you can't check-in yet. It's probably easiest to do it at the airport.

Hi and thanks for your help.

It is AL operated by BA. Seems I am trying to check in too early!

Will try again when over there later, or just check in at the airport.

Haven't used this route before so am looking forward to it. Can get DLR from door to door!

Using my old friend RYR for outward so I am very used to THAT drill!
