I'm disappointed that people don't realise that "recent " is a relative term:rolleyes:

The new independence day movie, independence day resurgence it was complete ****! I loved the original but the new one was such a disappointment one of the worst movies i've seen in the last few years!

God you'd think the'd make some attempt to make it somewhat memorable.

A friend offering to help with a beta test but then really screwing it up. Don't offer to do something if you're not going to do it.

The whole Brexit thing would have you fairly disappointed with what was once the leading country in the world on many fronts.

On a smaller scale, I guess my socks wearing out is quite disappointing.

I'll be disappointed if the UK doesn't go down the toilet because of Brexit. I'd love it if they do, even if it has a bad impact on Ireland. They deserve it for years of al a carte European politics. Who do they think they are? They should have been kicked out of the EU years ago for not participating in the Euro currency

Quite harsh. Should we be punished for sticking with a low corporation tax? Should Brussels decide everything? I'm not saying we should exit but we should maintain sovereignty.

How dare they. When the taxes go up. When the hospital waiting lists get longer. When schools close. When ....

It will all have been worth it to have taught them a lesson to knuckle down to the Brussels diktats.

My ASUS Intel i5 "SonicMaster". Has 4GB RAM. The pops and bangs in the sound output come on easily enough, even if the thing is plugged in. I've tried tweaking and the latest drivers. I mean, the thing did'nt cost me an arm and a leg I'm not using it for gaming but I expected a bit more 'bang for buck'.:(

indeed. funny how most of the irish are so disbelieving that the UK would want to exit to the EU given the EU made us swallow that **** load of bank debt.

I'm not saying we should leave tomorrow but the attitude that one shouldn't have any misgivings is bizarre considering the **** sandwich ireland recently ate on behalf of our betters in europe.

they were great pals to ireland when things were going well but when things turned they shafted ireland like black sheep of the family we truly are.

It was reported last week that Ireland paid 60% of the service charges on EU-wide debts. All other nations combined paid 40%. We got screwed. The government has no plans to challenge the state of events.

This is hidden from an incredulous public who continually slander the UK for leaving the boys club. They never suspect RTE is under-reporting on relevant information. Pure begrudgery/idiocy tbh.

The air fryer I bought last week. Made a few things with it and nothing has come out as I expected. I'm that close to chucking the thing, or reading the instructions :(

Life has disappointed me recently. Thought by 46 I'd be back working and having some sort of life. Instead am stuck at home with two teenagers, a 12 year old and the dog. Thought I'd have a bit more financial freedom by now. Also, I made hasselback potatoes for the first time the other day and they weren't "all that". Bitterly disappointed.

Mainly getting rejected for an apprenticeship with Bus Eireann recently despite an excellent interview. Wouldn't be the first time. Just can't seem to catch a break lately with job hunting.

My inability to walk away from the poker table when I'm on a big downswing. Lost the price of a brand new car just for trying to save a little pride at the end of a terrible session at the tables.
