Has anyone here ever travelled from Australia (Sydney) to India on an Irish passport?

If so, whats the best/easiest way to go about getting a multi entry visa for India while in Australia?

    Any help appreciated.

It doesn't matter where you are travelling from. As an Irish passport holder you need a visa to enter India. If your trip is for recreational/tourist purposes you can apply on-line for an e-visa. Read all about it here, and note that you'll need to arrive in India with at least six months validity to run on your passport, with your ticket home and with sufficient funds for your stay.

Where you are travelling from doesn't matter.
You deal with immigration when you get here, you'll be treated the same as if you landed from Dublin.
More of a question for the India forum than australian forum
