    hi
there is a brand of fleetwood paint which we love but its from a range which seems to be discontinued. its called taffeta from their heritage range. do i need to go to a fleetwood distributor to get this made up (i see how they use a computer to do this) or can i go to a woodies and just give them the name and they will do it for me there??
    thanks

Anywhere they have a Fleetwood machine could do it.

Thanks code master, that makes sense alright. Was told before that any paint shop could mix any paint but thought it wasn't as simple as that

No, it'd need to be a Fleetwood machine - so they can input the correct product codes, and the machine has the correct coloured paints inside to make the mix with.

Any paint shop can mix it but make sure to say its a Fleetwood colour. The companies have chemists making and matching all the other branded paints, though I'd give Woodies a miss.

i was in b&q yesterday so asked teh guy in the paint dept about it. he said they have a valspar machine which can mix any paint sample (he said to bring in a bit of paper with a couple of coats of the colour) with 99.98% accuracy! what is the consensus of the valspar brand??

Lenehans, Capel Street, Dublin 1 stock Fleetwoood paints. They will mix to any of the colours on the paint charts.

I've used the shop in Maynooth's Glenroyal SC many times and happy with the results.
