Cardboard Box as Ryanair luggage?

I might be taking a trip to Eastern Europe in a months time, I plan to buy a rare Car part there as I just can't get it here in Ireland. This thing would weigh around 15kgs and is would be a similar size to a large toaster.

I'm thinking if I was to box it up nicely with lots of bubble wrap and place it in a very sturdy cardboard box would Ryanair then accept it as a "Suitcase" as I'd pre-book it online. It would be cheaper than posting or freight I'm thinking; also I don't want it to get lost hence it travelling home with me.

I've often seen TVs and all manner of Cardboard boxes travelling in Asia and other countries as luggage with airlines but Ryanair being Ryanair I'd prefer to know first as the whole trip to Poland would be about sourcing this incredibly rare to find part that I've been looking for ages for.

If it's the size of a toaster, why not put it in an actual suitcase (with bubble wrap, foam padding/whatever)?

Luggage on all airlines can end up getting wet (not just Ryanair), and I'd be worried about a cardboard box disintegrating. If you don't like the suitcase idea, could you get the cardboard box shrink wrapped?

Either put it in a suitcase or else get brown tape and tape up the entire outside of the box and then put a label on it.
