My first time doing it so happy enough. Will learn from my mistakes for next times!!

Pics probably don't do the difference justice to be honest.

Not up to most your standards I would imagine but go easy on a newbie :P

    I haven't seen a set of Masitaly wheels in 10 years :)

    While washing my other half's i30 today, I gave the wheels a blast of Iron X. As you can see they were pretty dirty;

    Iron X working it's magic!

After a little bit of work with a wheel brush and a rise with the hose they were shining once again. I then treated them with some CarPro HydrO2 Lite. I sprayed it onto the wet wheel and then blasted it with the hose. It immediately beads up and the wheels great!

Not sure if this counts as detailing, but it improves some of the detail on the interior of the car so why not.

    2qnvcw8.jpg

The seat rails had seen better days and rust was unsightly. Was the first thing you could see when opening the door.

    16gbh47.jpg

It's all in the prep....fiddly job getting it down to the bare metal

    zogmf6.jpg

    Two/Three coats of primer

Two/Three coats of satin black, and back on.

Now to do the other side.....:o

You should post a thread in the projects and builds forum. Would be interesting to see overall progress on your new toy in one place :p

Yeah I'm a bit all over the place posting things on here with it. Starting a build/project thread sounds too much like a commitment to me :).

Will see how it goes, I have some time off work coming up soon so few things on it I really want to get stuck into.

Must get back to reading about squeezing an S85 under the bonnet:D

And no chemical smell off it either which I appreciate.

Great job on the wheel by the way.

Badly need to wash my wheels properly. The inside of the rim is fairly dirty and there's a bit of sticker left where balancing weights were on before. The effort of taking all 4 wheels off is mad though :P

Did a quick clean of the front two alloys on the car a few weeks ago.

Well impressed with the results roll on two weeks ago a CV boot decided to split God that grease is fair messy to get off.

Need to do the same with the mondeo. Did the focus wheels early on in the year, put a coat of polish on them, went to attack them last week, no need, with just a wipe of a micro fibre, and all the dust and dirt was gone.

Ironx or bilt hamber, which one, want to get one.

I used IronX on my wheels last weekend and it removed dirt I couldn't remove the previous 10 washes with normal shampoo, a brush and a mitt. It's amazing stuff but the smell is rotten :D

Same with the BH Korrosol. Might give the ironx a go.

Car had only recently been washed, but I must have hit every bug in the country.

    PBLTuFI.jpg

I didn't have the time to go crazy on the car, just a wash and spray wax.

    Y1oKcVN.jpg

Did a bit to the Mrs' car as well. More details than detail..

About to place an order now, seems the korrosol is a bigger bottle alright. I take it there's nothing in the difference?
