2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming =Overwatch, H1Z1,GTA 5, CS:Go etc.

If you don't mind buying the graphics card second hand, GTX970's and R9 290's go for 200 or sub 200 on adverts.ie and will run any game at 1080p ultra settings.

Otherwise build above is pretty solid and those games you've listed aren't overly intensive and will run at 1080p high-ultra just fine. (obviously cs:go will run at something like 200fps at ultra)

Is it worth switching out the i3 for an i5 6400 for the extra 50?

A 290 or 970 would be a better upgrade, but the i5 will help too

I'll probably change the gpu next year along with my monitor so just want the 380 to last me at 1080 for the year will a 4gb 380 play new games at high/ultra? Thanks for all the help
