If you wait around the area for 5-15 mins a pokemon will spawn. I find the leaves are generally a specific pokemon whereas you'll get the regular ones just about anywhere

Does leveling up really change the pokemons you find? I've not noticed a difference.

Walked through the Phoenix Park today. Really curious as to who owns the Aras an Uchtaran gym considering you can't get anywhere near it :P

Nope, they might have set their server to block certain I.p locations at a certain time during the day so the next time zone is ok.

Oynx is a rare spawn actually - something you can get from a 10km egg so once trading gets implemented you'll be very popular. I hear as an actual fighting pokemon it is considered somewhat weak.

I just uninstalled the APK and re-installed from App Store.

Nope! Although I was on at about 8ish, but I doubt I was actually on as during a 30 minute cycle, followed by a 5/10 minute walk, I saw a grand total of 0 (yes, zero) pokemon.

I also have an egg that should have been hatched with the walk (and possibly with the cycle as well as it was quite slow) but it was stuck on 1.7/2.0kms for the entire walk even though my avatar was walking so the game was correctly tracking my GPS.

They must have completely underestimated the demand for their game.

I started again with the rest of my friends when the official version came out so used the trainer club login and bought some eggs for fast leveling, now it seems that only my google account can login anytime after 11am

feel like i've wasted my money

Even if the game was running perfectly you still wasted your money

I was doing really well up until 4pm actually. The game was running perfectly and then about 7ish till now haven't been able to get on at all. They really need to sort this out...

That's pretty weird. They're all really low levels unfortunately. It was my first pokemon to catch apart from my bulbasaur. I thought you had to go towards the green leaves. If I wait there for a few minutes an onyx will always spawn

Still haven't gotten a 10km egg though!

Have to love the optimism. 5.20 this morning in T2 and someone has attached a lure to a Pokéstop. Dublin Airport is actually not all that densely populated yet in terms of stops & gyms

Up to level 8 now 10.2km travelled since the 13th July it's getting me out of house and taking mind off things I can't complain.

Everyone in gyms bear me seem to be heavy populated by purple team players I decided to be red team so can't compete with purples due to numbers

Anyone know if the save / profile is saved on the account server file.. Beith Google acount or Pokemon Trainer server account or is the profile saved locally on the device?

My son has a brand new ipod touch 6 but it won't work outside with pokemon go... such a shame
