there was a few people holding those placards, they were entitled too , i would have held one if i wasnt asked to go up the front

yes they are making a public statement , dont you get it ??? a corrupt politician is covering up for a child killer in our opinion .. what would you suggest we hold on our placards instead

    Don't you get it?
I am entitled to express an opinion also, and I did.

If you want to try to deny me that then I will post it multiple times until you quit harassing me for holding and expressing a different opinion to yours.

I found that placard disgusting and out of place.

When the opinion expressed on it is proved I will have no objection to it.

as you give a Fúck about Mary Boyle every single post you have made on here has been negative about our campaign, nothing constructive to say and now descending into personal abuse .. and your account was solely made to post on here so far , away and slither back on to a fianna fail forum with the rest of the snakes from that party

There you are , I just knew I could keep prodding and the bully would appear couldn't contain yourself. I have said that I just felt the Doc was off. I dont trust what I as presented with. I am in camp one way or the other, but I do hate bullies.

What do you mean constructive? Oran? If it does just fall in line with your view. I am not abusing you but I am contesting your view , I would hope in a civilised way.

It says something about you that you actually look for pattens in posts. If I'm negative in your view, tough. Get over it and respond to the post. I am critical of the documentary, I have said that day 1. Its deceptive. But you dont and there you are thats healthy debate. I could say there are patterns to all posts if I had the time or inclination to read them from that perspective.

There you are , I just knew I could keep prodding..

So you admit you were just trying to get a rise out of oranbhoy?

I'd be interested if you could clarify your interest in this case, and explain why you registered on boards solely to post in this thread?

thats the first person I've ever had to add to my ignore list on all my time on here. ill happily debate civilly with anyone about this case and the doc and even placards, that guy is on here for one reason and one reason only and i Personally am cutting off the oxygen he craves before he gets a decent thread closed

Probably best to ignore them oranbhoy - they seem like a poster who would like nothing more than get you banned from this thread.

If this so called politician is innocent then why the hell doesn't he come out and make a statement. He's a public representative who is meant to work for the people yet he completely ignores this issue. The fact is that a little girl was murdered in his area and he doesn't even come out to support those who seek justice. What does that tell you?

I actually came on here today not to prod you at all. But I feel you may have a problem with a person who may hold an alternate view. What I came on for was that I found that the placard was deeply offensive. You speak about Justice for Mary and you have people marching your through Ballyshannon distracting from the main issue.

do you want bans? Because this is how you get bans

should have kept the crazies away

As your first post on this thread was in relation to the (now discredited) story in the local paper, it seems reasonable to assume you are from the locality.

Given your antipathy to the campaign for justice for Mary, it seems reasonable to ask:

Do you have any connection to the protagonists in this case?

    Antipathy to what case?

Your antipathy to the people campaigning for justice for Mary:
All of what she is saying isnt supported anywhere except by Seanchais like Margo. I dont mean this in a derogatory sense but is Margo for real.
should have kept the crazies away.
I would say that Margo maybe should stick to singing but on second thoughts..... I am not a fan.
There you are , I just knew I could keep prodding...

Again, I ask, do you have any links to the protagonists in this case?

The justice for Mary is inextricably linked to to the idea that Mary was the victim of injustice. that someone close to her killed her and that the cops and politicians cover it up.

    That's what happened.

Indeed - there certainly was an injustice, in that the poor girl was never given a proper burial, and that nobody served time for what happened to her.

It has been suggested that there has been a cover up - that the main suspect in the case has never been questioned under caution is indisputable, the only possible reasons for that are:
    a) Garda incompetence
    b) something more sinister

You didn't answer the question, though.

Apparently you do not really read what is posted.

You now say that what is on that placard is 'truth'.
If that is the case then show the proof.
Show it for all to see.
    Post it here!
No? Because there is no proof?

The fact is there is no known truth.
    There is supposition and opinion.

I look forward to the truth being known ..... it is my opinion that to defile someone's name - and you have often posted that the name is well known - is completely wrong until the truth is known.
As another posted here .... it does smack considerably of 'mob rule'.

Did you not even consider there might not be sufficient evidence/cause to arrest someone?

so do you not believe in an opinion being posted on a placard at a march??

This is not about any opinion ..... this is about a statement of grievous wrongdoing being attributed to one of very few people.
That is completely different to stating that there is a 'cover-up' or even a 'political cover-up'. That you apparently see no distinction does you no favours.

This type of bald statement, as if it is proven fact, is worrying.
If this is what the campaign is based upon then nothing will come of it as no one will take it sufficiently seriously.

I warned you and others about this poster, and others with similar opinions, last week.

Just keep the thread focused and don't rise to the obvious.

    Good thread going bad.

It's turning into the shítfight they are looking for. Let them prod and poke but if you don't respond you take away their voice. Quoting and responding can achieve nothing.

Hope EVERYBODY takes the easiest option and ignores these people. Completely.

Can you tell us why the Gardai arrested a man that there was no evidence whatsoever against in relation to this case, I.e. Brian McMahon, and won't at the same time arrest the main suspect that Mary's sister Ann and others know killed her and who have given this information to the Gardai?
