Well lads, how much would a taxi from Corrib Village to Eyre square cost at say 1 in the morning. Would taxis still be around at that hour? Also, has anyone here stayed at Corrib Village before? Would you reccommend it for a first year student

Would cost about a tenner, 7.50-8 euro during the day. Yeah of course they would be around, sure everyone leaves the nightclubs at 2/half 2 ish so it is easy money for them.

I stayed in Corrib this year, best year of my life without doubt. Honestly I would say it is the best student accommodation in Ireland for sheer craic, making friends and getting the complete college experience. Saying that, you are paying for a party and the place is a bit of a kip in comparison to the likes of Cuirt and management are dickheads but most don't care in first year, the session is more important. If you like your quiet time and want to live somewhere nice, steer clear but if you want to let loose a bit, make friends and properly enjoy first year I cannot recommend the place enough.
