No, I vowed never to support the French soccer team after the Henri incident and I stand by that despite how much Ronaldo and his celebration in particular makes me want to punch him in the face, so I'm supporting Portugal, much and all as it hurts me to say that.

I suppose there's no chance that they could both lose.

I'm the same as you, very shocked to hear people say they would support France, memories are fierce short. Portugal aren't a likeable team either as you say, but supporting the French, between Henry and the guffaws of laughter at our expense in the aftermath, you'd be cracked to want them to win.

A 4-0 defeat for them in their own house would be just lovely. Although if Ronaldo didn't score any of those that would be better still. It's all about himself really, he hasn't any interest in the team.

Not in this tournament, he's not.

He could have scored 20 on another day during this tournament. He still is doing well. We will see in the final. He's the only thing standing between the frogs winning it.

I think he's a poser etc etc, but there is no denying he is an exceptional athlete and footballer.

A stat flashed up in the group games that Ronaldo had more shots himself by 1/2 time of the 2nd game than the entire NI team had at the end of their 2nd game.

He is a beast of a player. Even when he isn't firing on all cylinders he is still a step above most other players.

Portugal unlikable? Haven't you seen that Griezmann celebration?
How I would love to see the Portuguese wipe that smirk off his face but its not gonna happen, the arrogant French cannot lose tomorrow, they'll get a dodgy peno or something. :(
Think I'll put the telly on and see how the Wales v Germany third place match is going.

Oh believe me, he does have a very punchable face but I see France as being the lesser of two evils.

I hope Christiano fulfills his destiny tonight and helps Portugal win their first major international title.

He shouldn't have even been born, he was an unplanned product of a drinking session his parents went on.

What a story, he'll go down as one of the greatest of all time.

got it in one its all about him and his narcissistic ego, can you just imagine him lifting the trophy he'll hold on to it not giving it to his team mates ala Maradona in 86

I was at that game and still want to throw something at the TV every time he comes on. But I did stick €100 on France after the semi so the mercenary in me wins out.

And I like being able to say we were beaten by the eventual champions. We're the only team to have led them actually

I'll be shouting for France, of course. My four year old is all excited because he's being allowed stay up late to watch the match (he'll be asleep in the first half hour but who cares! ).

Will be straight up honest. Have watched about 90 minutes total on Irish TV, first half and analysis of one of the Irish games on RTE.

Really hope Portugal do it tonight. Ronaldo to score the winner and lift the trophy. Pepe is my second favourite player ever - beast defender and outstanding rustler. Pepe will dominate the French forwards and France will crumble under the pressure. Everyone will be seething if Portugal win haha, everyone seems to be very insecure about how good looking, successful Ronaldo is.

    Forca Portugal. SIIIIIIIIIIIII.

I'm hoping the moths are secretly planning something, we are all just thinking oh look at all the moths but on the 34th minute all the moths will unite and eat Ronaldo.
