They've had an easy run with the draw in fairness.

And remember Wales did lose to England and played terribly against them, didn't play well against Northern Ireland but got past them and Russia are the worst team in the competition and Slovakia are no great shakes either.Belgium were missing 3 of their key defenders and looked a shambles at the back because of it, Lukakus younger brother is a truly horrific player.Great achievement by them but they have been lucky the way things have went so far.

They also have a top 5 player in the world which makes a massive difference to a middling type of team.

Wales have one great player and England haven't a player close to his level.

You do know that some people have thought for a while that Englands players have been over rated because the EPL is over rated.

So the Welsh are actually a bit rubbish! ;) Portgual have rather fluked their way to the semi finals as well - five 90m draws a late ET goal and one better peno strike

Not rubbish just that things have went for them so far.

They are missing Ramsey for the Portugal match which will be a big loss for them.

Also Portugal have played a lot better than their results have suggested so far.

All he talked about was how great the Welsh manager is. Thereby digging at Hogdson. Total twonk.

He also referred top the Welsh team as 'we' a few times

Would love to see Italy go through tonight, some very exciting players. The Germans are too... consistent :p

Germany have never beaten Italy in a tournament match so you have every change of getting your wish.

Not like England, who had to face mighty Iceland. Luck of the draw, eh?

Shocking penalty shootout - so many tired players on the field. 3-3 after 6 attempts each ...

Both sides' lesser players are now knocking them all in ...
edit: spoke too soon. Good thing Boateng put his in, otherwise he'd really be in the doghouse.

Bad feeling they might get a little brave, France got 1-0 up inside 20-30 minutes, and Iceland never get back in it.

But oh my jaysus how I hope I'm wrong!!

Hopefully. There was an evacuation and controlled explosion in station in Poitiers a couple of weeks ago too about an hour after we passed through. Only heard about it the following day while trying to read the local newspaper, even though we were staying a two minute walk away. Small article on page ten. Probably widespread and relatively unreported over there at this stage.

On topic. Think France go through but could make a meal of it. Have backed draw, France ET and France pens accordingly.

Kante a big loss to France, was delighted to see him get booked and subbed against us last week when the belief was still there.

Think Iceland will score. French backline look week and the Vikings will look to take advantage via a setpiece although tend to give frees away themselves.

High scoring draw please, something better than last night's snoozefest

He's not though really and France upped their game when he was taken off. he He's a defensive midfielder, alright on the ball but France don't need him against Iceland
