Delighted for Wales! Bit sick I didn't jump on the 5/1 price before the match, and whatever it would have been at 1 down. But I digress :pac:

Wales are going to have it that bit tougher in the semis should they make it through, even against an under par Portugal. Ramsey now added to the suspended players.

    :(

Just put a fiver on Belgium to win 3-2 for the craic

17/1... not even that great an odds for it

That's not a shaggin penalty, he dived. Should have been given a yellow card the cheat.

Would love to see that, but with two of their stronger player having 2 yellow cards and not being allowed in the semi, I'm not sure.
Hope they'll make it anyway :D

The BBC might give this game the respect it deserves now and focus on the Welsh and an incredible performance.

    A victory for sensible haircuts.

    Well done Wales!

Great scenes. A great team. Feel bad for Ramsey, he's been brilliant the whole tournament, ran his heart out in every match. Haven't seen Souness back on tv3 since the night he said Ramsey "has done nothing in this thing except dye his hair". What a fughin idiot.

Not usually a soccer fan but that was class.

Watched first half on BBC Wales and was mental.

    They deserve their win.

RTE are much worse. Switched on RTE2 to catch the highlights and they have a bunch of comedians presenting the programme.

Well done Wales. Is an Iceland Wales final technically possible. How wonderful would that be.

Wales reaching the semi finals is bit problematic for the people saying England's failures are down to their leagues being overrated, given that the Wales squad is drawn from there.

the welsh have more hunger & passion

thay're not pamperes prima donnas like most teams..they want it more than anyone

All he talked about was how great the Welsh manager is. Thereby digging at Hogdson. Total twonk.

It is part of the problem though.

England's players are assumed to be better than they are because the EPL is overrated and thus people think England are better than they are in reality.

Although topical, that doesn't explain the loss to iceland. You would never say the icelandic players are better than the england players. They performed better as a team, **** all to do with overhyping of the premier league except that it may effect the mentality of england players. The league is overhyped, and largely the england players are not the most creative but come on like
