Nice one Mick! I have the same and with the polarising filter also. I didn't bother with the cable tidy as I don't have much space.

    How are you powering it?

Well my Mini 0806 is still vibrating at 1100 RPM but I realised it's not vibrating in the actual mount. The vibration is happening at the plastic band on the actual dashcam itself where it allows the camera to rotate. I will put a few spots of hot glue and hopefully it will stop it :)

    Fcukin diesel smoothness :pac:

maryown, please send me a PM with a link to where this car is advertised and I'll update your post.

Oops, I didn't realise maryown has less than 100 posts. But being in a good mood and because the error is mine, I will allow it this once.

Welded the whole dashcam together yesterday with hot glue so it's no longer removable from the mount. No more vibrations and the video footage isn't as shaky :p

My old dashcam is giving me lots of problems so i have decided to get a good one this time.I looked at the Street Guardian and other similar dashcams and now Techmoan has a review of a new dashcam which he says is the best and is using it himself. It is the M6 plus made by DDPai of china. Can you guys look at this and let me know what you think before i pull the trigger.

I was looking at that yesterday and it looks like a great piece of kit. Where are you thinking of purchasing from?

Are the mini 0806 a good buy?

Going to bite the bullet and get one as I am prone to a little problem of people running into me.

I have a Mini 0806 but I would go for a Mini 0805. They are more reliable for sure. The 0806 has twin SD card slots and pretty much once a month it stops recording and begins beeping due to SD card errors. I suspect the oldest video it wants to delete is a small file sometimes and there's not enough space for a new clip which causes the problems.

Very very good dashcam when it works (0806) but the 0805 is cheaper and more reliable.

Techmoan has the link in the review of where he bought it.It comes from China directly. The only minor thing is i wish it had a lens filter built in but i will probably add one myself.

Yes, I saw that but how much will our friendly customs agents add?

I've had the nextbase 212 for about a month now. Fit and forget. No errors or anything like that. Footage is decent once I worked out that the problems were user error and not the fault of the dashcam (RTFM!)

    I've a 0806 for about 6 months now and it hasn't miss a beat.

Which firmware version are you using out of interest? Some of them are more stable than others. I'm using the latest from May 2016.

Genuine commercial 06 KIA Sorento. I am expecting so need more seats.

Would like to sell this quickly! It will make a great workhorse for someone.

    Good points
    New all terrain tyres
    DOE 05/17
    Tax 11/16
    Very reliable for us
    Bluetooth kit installed
    rear parking sensors
Regularly serviced and well looked after
Does not need any mechanical work

    Bad points
One rear door doesn't open. (wouldn't use it much anyway)
Fuel gauge not working due to new fuel tank installed. We refill every 300 miles.
    Couple of scratches on body.
Driver seat is slightly ripped (happens on all sorentos at this mileage)
