It's the fighting spirit, determination and warrior instinct that we hope is displayed today.

The game is about being effective, being aggressive, winning the ball, getting on with the play :)

Can't wait for the game! This morning is dragging in!

It feels great heading into the city centre without a care in the world. We're playing the hosts and I've no expectations.
Simply going to enjoy the game and have a nicely boozy happy Sunday.

Can someone tell me, why do they get to give is such a meagre allocation of tickets? Is it just because they're the hosts? Presumably every other match tickets are equally available to both teams? Is the allocation done by the French or by uefa?

I'm not bitching, if it was on in Dublin I'd hope we could severely limit their access to tickets as well.

    That's the spirit!

I mildly electrocuted myself this morning and had a premonition.

Hendricks to score the first goal.
    Payet second.
Coleman to score an unfortunate OG
    McClean to score the equalizer.
Walters to score the winner in the 83rd.

    OLE OLE OLE OOOLLLLAAAAYYY OLE!

If we beat France today it will be the greatest Irish sporting achievement of all time in my view. The gulf in class is vast. Hope I'm wrong but 4-1 to France imo.

James McClean will be the man for us today. I have a feeling he has this tune pumping from his headphones right now

    Keane? Keane?!

More chance of Roy coming on to score for us :)

Robbie is finished, he should have been put down long ago. Good battler but he believes in himself too much.

Pass the ball Robbie! Ya gloryhunting, toebogging, model riding son of a bitch!

    :)

Keane scoring the winner in injury time would be a fitting end for the greatest striker we have ever had.

The night of the Henry handball I remember AH going absolutely mental! Good times.

They can say it isn't a factor all they like but that is going to motivate any player.

Actually, in the knock-out system, the winning team progresses to the next round.

They'll have to be disciplined at the back, any sight of contact in the box against the host nation will probably be pulled up as a penalty

I don't buy for a minute the train of thought that it's not on the players minds. I can imagine it will motivate the players in a serious way.
