Got Vodafone fiber last week, everything working ok, have also a 2nd router setup as an access point to extend the wifi, its sh*t on the vodafone modem.

Problem is that I cant get my Galaxy s6 to connect to the wifi reliably.

Now and then I can get connected to the wifi and its great for a few mins then drops off. Sometimes it just says connected but no internet.

I have read about a million threads on how to fix this but nothing works, reset this, restart that, everything down to a factory restore of the phone. Nothing works.

Has anyone else had this problem with the s6, it will connect to any other wifi I have tried, open and secured. There are also 2 other computers and 2 tablets and 3 phone in the houyse which connect with no problems at all.

Its doing my head in, anyone got a solution.

    Thanks
    J

When I got my Samsung Galaxy S4 a couple of years ago it refused to connect to my 10 year old Linksys Wi-Fi router, until I changed the type of encryption for WPA to TKIP.

I've replaced the Linksys with an Archer C9 now and all is fine now using proper encryption.
