Hi there! A neighbour was building an extension to his house and making the yard bigger around it. While doing so he removed a couple of ash trees about 3ft in diameter around the trunk and 10 to 12ft of straight wood till it starts to branch out. He is planning on selling these and is wonder what they would be worth. The trees are down now for 5-6 months so would be getting fairly seasoned.

Hurley ash is cut from the base of trees 25/30 years old, the trees you describe are suitable for sawing into planks for commercial use , he should put them on done deal

Thanks tabby, I will say that to him. It might be the best thing to do.
