    TBH it makes it more difficult to know who is serious and who isn't with the nonsense that you read in some of the other threads.

    Replicas have the capability to fire bullets, though, but they are 1) very cumbersome and 2) quite dangerous, often misfiring and causing serious harm to the shooter.

    I'd take a replica over a gun then, just fire out all the guns I want and use them. :pac:

    German media reports suggest the man wore a mask and carried a gun and ammunition belt.
    One magazine says that a man has been arrested.

    Reuters are the same. They reported that he was arrested and then reporting that he was shot dead.

    I guess we could just wait an hour and hear the proper story.

    Reports that the attacker was shot dead are building momentum. The only consistent thing about this story is that noone was shot... except possibly the attacker himself.

    Sounds like most of the injuries are from the inhalation of tear gas.

    No one knows anything, but a news blackout is impossible these days.

    Hopefully one day Simon McCoy will say "something has happened, we have no details so we'll not report anything further until facts are known for certain and now the weather"

    That fact that noone was hurt (beyond the attacker himself) does make it interesting to watch the random hate that comes spewing out of Twitter from people who have zero facts and think the cinema must resemble a war zone now.

    It's pretty disgraceful of the media to fall over each other trying to report how a gunman has injured 50 people before waiting for details as trivial as the fact that it was tear gas rather than another mass shooting. I swear most editors must get stiffies over death tolls these days.

    He's a comedian who routinely gets named as the gunman in all sorts of mass-media-dominating shootings. No idea why, could be a publicity thing he does by sending tips to news publications or something, idk

    They do need to be stopped in fairness. Anything that perpetuates that message is useful
