So it appears that whacko Jackon was indeed a very sick and twisted individual.

    Too obvious?

I think the thing to look at here is that this information was collected in 2003 and nothing was done about it nor was it made public knowledge.

Well there isn't a whole lot that can be done about it now he's dead.
Why is this only getting out now?

If they found child porn at Neverland in 2003 then why was he not charged with possession of it?

    No smoke with out fire.

He was rich and famous and had rich and powerful(and famous) friends, many of whom he was making money for. Money and fame buys you immunity from many of the vagaries of life(usually even moreso in the US of A). If he'd been some poor Black oddball in a trailer park and that kinda thing had been found he'd be in gaol for life most likely. So yeah, hardly a big shock.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

It seems that a lot of the material was considered 'art' and were part of collections in books.

More detail from the guy who helped prosecute Jackson - at odds with some of what has been reported.
Former Santa Barbara Senior Assistant District Attorney Ron Zonen, who helped prosecute Jackson and recalls viewing the actual documents tied to the case, tells PEOPLE that law enforcement did discover adult pornographic magazines and videos, though nothing constituting child pornography.

"There were all kinds of conventional porn magazines," says Zonen. "Things like Playboy, Penthouse. There was one called Barely Legal. It was a publication that featured young women presumably over the age of 18 but selected because they look much younger."

Law enforcement also discovered a book of "masochistic" type drawings.

When it comes to items relating to children, "There were photos of nude children but they weren't sexually graphic," he says. "They weren't children engaged in sexual activity and there was no child pornography. There were no videos involving children. There were videos that were seized but they were conventional adult sexually graphic material. No children involved."

Specifically, the nude images of children he says, showed children "playing in the stream, climbing trees, nature photographs, nudist colonies, things like that," he said. "They came from professional publications. Were they designed for pedophiles or designed as artistic photographic books I can't comment on that."

    Santa Barbara police spokeswoman comments:
Addressing this week's reports, Kelly Hoover, a spokeswoman for the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office tells PEOPLE that while some of the reportedly unearthed documents appear to be valid, others do not.

"Some of the documents appear to be copies of reports that were authored by Sheriff's Office personnel as well as evidentiary photographs taken by Sheriff's Office personnel interspersed with content that appears to be obtained off the internet or through unknown sources. The photos that are interspersed appear to be some evidentiary photos taken by Sheriff's investigators and others are clearly obtained from the internet."

I know that but surely after you're gone the protection stops.
He died seven years ago and now the stuff is getting released.

Why not release it as soon as he was dead or bury it forever.
    Releasing it now seems strange.

First Jimmy Savile, now Michael Jackson.

    I'm shocked.

I'd take this latest story with a massive grain of salt at the moment, as even the Sheriff's Office has since had to come out with this:
"Some of the documents appear to be copies of reports that were authored by Sheriff's Office personnel as well as evidentiary photographs taken by Sheriff's Office personnel interspersed with content that appears to be obtained off the internet or through unknown sources. The photos that are interspersed appear to be some evidentiary photos taken by Sheriff's investigators and others are clearly obtained from the internet."

Then the investigator's own take seems pretty heavy handed to label these findings
“The documents exposed Jackson as a manipulative, drug- and sex-crazed predator who used blood, gore, sexually explicit images of animal sacrifice and perverse adult sex acts to bend children to his will,” the source said.

“He also had disgusting and downright shocking images of child torture, adult and child nudity, female bondage and sadomasochism.”

Sounds like the description to an Illuminati Youtube video. :pac:

I think I'll wait till there's an original source from a some authority other than 'Radar', an online celeb gossip magazine.

Radar's story has been re-reported elsewhere, but nobody else has seen or published their so-called evidence.

Radar has about as much credibility as TMZ or Perez Hilton.

Someone already posted it, but it's worth repeating. According to the police:
“The photos that are interspersed appear to be some evidentiary photos taken by Sheriff’s investigators and others are clearly obtained from the internet”

The photos are not themselves pornographic. To say that "all the rumours are true", as you have done, has not been established. Far from it.

I'm not saying the rumours aren't true. But this ain't proof.

Like I stated "It seems that a lot of the material was considered 'art' and were part of collections in books."

This in itself is worrying would you not think? He seemed to be a fan of and collector of 'art' containing nude children. And naturist imagery containing children. Yes it's not illegal, but it's not normal. A lot of reports are also talking about adult male homosexual imagery with children's faces superimposed on the men. As for the animal gore and cruelty stuff... I don't know what to make of that.

It wouldn't be my thing, but if you're super rich paedophile, and protected by a bubble of your celebrity (as previous posters suggest), why not just go for the child porn, man? Why stop at the Bravo/ Eurotrash version?

Jackson worshipped childhood. Cultishly. Weirdly. It doesn't make him a paedophile.

As for animal torture, let me say this. If I died, and someone sufficiently nosy bothered to look at my internet search history, they'd see video-searches of a cat being skinned alive (research for the dogmeat thread), and another video of a lion eating a man.

We're humans. Most of us have a weird curiosity.

Again, I'm not denying the veracity of the rumours. I simply don't know, and am not convinced by this celeb gossip website.

No it doesn't. But to hoard naked photos?

But the animal torture content allegedly found in his place are reported to be physical imagery. Anyone can stumble across something online either intentionally or unintentionally but to have physical images?

I'm not so sure myself about the animal stuff. But other stuff... whether art or not, the volume would suggest it was fuel for his fetish.

The Vatican just made him the posthumous Bishop of Neverland.

TBH, it would seem perfectly obvious to me that he was a paedophile but one that was careful enough not to have any illegal materials in his possession and to pay off any child making public accusations.

Isn't that what every sane person has believed for the past decade?

I'd give this story a lot more credence if it didn't come from somewhere that had as much journalistic integrity as TMZ. And Buzzfeed.

Jackson was a damaged individual, but I don't think he was dangerous. Or a child molester.

If all this had come out at the time it would have ruined his sales figures when he died. Funerals are one of the most financially lucrative sales times for any artist.
