What would be ridiculous about 2 teams Portugal and Austria who as things stand have 2 points and 1 point respectively going home? I think Portugal will score but just because Ronaldo plays for them doesn't mean they should automatically go through.

I assume he's saying it's ridiculous because they were heavy favourites to progress, not because they have a god-given right to go through.

Oh right. I would have thought that Austria qualifying would always have been in doubt.

Re Portugal before half time in their 2nd game a stat flashed up that Ronaldo has now had more shots than the entire NI team in 2 games. And he had a pile more shots in the 2nd half.

I still think Ronaldo will score today.
