Yes Tactical Strike and Reconnaisance .

Did you realise that the modern day Tornado is a smaller version of the same idea? Many of the Tornados systems are developements of TSR2 systems.

    Olé
    Olé Olé Olé.

In the mid-naughties the Football Association of Ireland moved from it's previous location in Merrion Square into a newly-refurbished building in Abbotstown. Who were the previous occupants of the building?

Even though I was interviewed for a job there in the 80's, I couldn't tell you who was there before. confused.png

They obviously didn't impress you then. They probably couldn't afford you anyway.

Which building are we asked about? Merrion Square or Abbotstown?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,034 ✭✭✭garancafan

    Abbotstown.

I haven't a clue, as not being a Dub, I never heard of Abbotstown until the Bertie bowl.

Merrion Square used to be populated by mainly medical people, or maybe a foreign embassy. Can't do any better than that I'm afraid.

Oooh JB - the question is about the building in Abbotstown!

tampopo is homing in, in the sense that the answer is a state scientific service.

Glad that Srameen (given his scientific background) is involved - and that he was able to take time off from his preparation of the questions that he is due to post :D.

Whisky Xray Yankee? Phonetic alphabet I think.
Might be a while before I think of a question if correct!

The FAI headquarters building was originally a purpose-built laboratory building occupied by the State Laboratory.
