Iphone 5s Charging Slowly

Hi all, My Iphone 5s is Charging Slowly. The phone says its charging but its extremly slow. If I have it plugged in and im using it it actually uses battery instead of charging it. Any Ideas?

Buy a better quality usb charging cable, and do not use long usb cables or extension cables when charging, this will reduce the amount of current significantly.
Use a better charger if youre not using an original apple charger, something rated at 2A (2 Amps of current) would be perffect.

Also dont charge it from a usb port in a computer because there isnt enough current to charge it quickly.
