I respectfully disagree, twice this week I've recorded the main show and thus been able to fast forward all MPW bits. He makes me not want to watch

No hassle - apparently he is definitely going according to the bookies....Unless the producers try a last minute twist...

Funnily enough while I want him gone, I don't think he will go tonight, imo Georgina is most in danger. The edit hasn't reflected well on her at all, after that Emma. It's between them two I suspect

    Vote To Evict?? Why??

You lose the best housemates that way and it ensures the deadwood remains. I thought we had seen at end to that since it was on Channel 5. Majority of the time at least. Nobody will bother their hole picking up the phone to boot out Andy or Emma. I can only assume the producers want Marco out.

Its counter-intuitive but they actually prefer regular 'big character' evictions rather than deadwood evictions.

Eviction show is the biggest ratings show, so the more interesting the character the better the advertising revenue, they then generate publicity in the tabloid/magazine market, and also get people to watch the BOTS/BBLB shows. And you can always manufacture them back into the house if needbe.
Deadwood evictees give you none of this, better to hide them in the house for the time being.

How about sending MPW to the Other House for a while? Send some of the previous evictees back into the Main House, so that he wouldn't have his pals there with him.

Send MPW and Laura in there, remove the others, and never show that house again.

You know, I don't think Rylan mentioned on BOTS last night that the evictee will be on his show later tonight, did he? He usually does. Wonder if MPW is picked will there be a "new" twist and he will become an other. They already seem to treat him differently from everyone else - calling him in on Twist (less) night to see how he was getting on and asking him during nominations how he felt.

Not the most reliable source but may explain why BB are setting MPW to get evicted and prob not appear on BBOTS

I think that was because they wanted to instil paranoia and make him think he was a goner after Chelsea.

    I prefer Vote to Evict.
Like a previous poster said, when it's Vote to Save you get boring evictions.
Reckon MPW needs to go...might bring his ego down a peg or two.

But you also get left with a boring house.

I hope marco stays. He is the most entertaining HM by a mile. Look at the bookies favourite in Alex...he hasn't spoken on screen last night and said about 5 sentences all week. If he is to be the winner then I give up on big brother

I've deleted the recording so I can't double check but I think I actually remember him saying something at the end like 'I'll be here tomorrow with our latest evictee' or something like that.

Think about it though, what does he do that's entertaining?

He doesn't have arguments like Helen Wood or anything. He isn't good to listen to, he can barely talk to big brother in the diary room.

He just dances round the pole, jumps into the pool and sucks Laura's body parts every chance he gets.

He's actually not entertaining at all.

With him gone others get more airtime and they will come out of their shell more without captain knob jockey around.

I think you've unwittingly pitched the idea for his reality show when he leaves the house. The adventures of captain knob jockey :D

But seriously I completely agree with everything you said

I totally disagree. I much prefer when they go through the housemates one by one and told them they have been saved by the public. It sounds better too when someone has been told the public saved everyone but them. When it is VTE the always have the excuse that they created the most opinion and so naturally they went. VTS and they can't do that.

Mark is right. If it's VTE all the time, each and every week you would lose the most controversial housemate. Sometimes it might work but the majority of the time you lose the housemate that is everyone loves to hate. If you had a vote in the UK to vote out the worst team in the Premiership for example, Man Utd would go as the have the most haters. VTS and they would be the first saved.

He's out of his mind though and that has the potential to become TV gold. It's his fall in the house that I would want to see. I wanted to see how things would go when Jackson came in as they would not get on and nobody has really confronted Marco yet, he would.

I see someone posted that he is up on charges for being coked up, colour me surprised. Anyone checked his toothpaste? :P

Another thing that I was thinking was that anyone who has been ever been evicted by the public vote has never gone into a secret room (apart from once and there was complaints and refunds had to issued) as it is seen as false advertising. However, I wonder if the fact that they keep saying people in the second house are no longer housemates would give them a loophole there as maybe if they did throw a public vote evictee in there they would be exempt from complaints as technically it is not the big brother house. They could then put a few people in there and ask the public to vote for who goes back in. Just a thought.

Marco is gone tonight either way though. That's for sure as there is no way more people would spend their money voting out either of the other two.

I agree that VTE is a big mistake so early on in any BB series. Get rid of the bigger characters too soon and you risk another BB4. No one wants that!

I am surprised they are willing to sacrafice Marco so early on, though. I reckon his fiancee has had a word with her mate, the producer and made sure either he or Laura went this week!

Completely agree. I haven't watched BB very much, but from the clips on BBOTS and reading threads, I don't think he is entertaining at all.

Well he entertains me. Just like Perez Hilton entertained me whereas most people here were frothing at the mouth calling for his head. It's all subjective I guess.

Ah now , do you think we wouldn't miss all MPW charming points? His maniacal lecherous grin , his self absorption , his belief in himself that he is the big "I Am" ,his lovely stories of hookers and cocaine , paid for with Daddys money ??

Hmmmmm, nope , wouldn't miss him for a second , and I've been polite about him :D

Perez was entertaining because he was playing the game. It was an act. Marco is not entertaining because he is a spoilt self-entitled manchild.

Lighten up Natalie...what else do you expect these poor people to do locked up in the other house all day??

It can't be any fun trapped in the house where fun went to die dressed like Michael Myers clones.

But he's entertaining to me. That's all in trying to say. Good on ya if you disagree. Each to their own :)

That's what is best about this thread , we may agree or disagree on who we like, love or loathe , but the laughs and jokes are still had and we don't take it personally :D

I will watch BB later, currently watching a new episode of Eurotrash on C4.

Best thing about live shows is being able to fast forward the live bits before the live eviction.

Sorry did Emma just say her parents paid for her to get bigger t*ts as a reward for doing well in her exams?

    Sweet Jesus.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 514 ✭✭✭EIREDriver

No way would I have said the twin had a boob job!

A present from her parents for doing really well in her exams.

All I got was a chinese takeaway and a pat on the back.
