You didn't seem to watch the match....Germany didn't exactly seem to be aiming for a draw.

I watched it. The last 25 minutes I had more chance of scoring from my sofa ffs.

The poles and the krauts were at it ffs. Cheaters inc.

Yeah they're so good at throwing games, Ozil knows the keeper saves a great shot and Gotze hits the post just to hide it from us.

My opinion of course. The Germans and the poles quite confident with a draw. Nice one....

We got it the first 5 times.

Sad to see another supporter pass away :( NI fan had a heart attack during the match. RIP.

World Cup 1990. Ireland V. Holland and it was a lot more obvious too.

If you apply the same to NI, they cheated thought the match on Saturday, such was their reluctance to score during the entire 90 mins against Poland. I think that makes them over 3 times the cheaters those you call "krauts" were.

If you really think teams would conspire to play for a draw against their neighbours and rivals in the 2nd match of a 3 match tournament to squeeze NI out, I'm afraid you just haven't seen much of the game. It would be just...nuts. The times it happened, Germany Austria in 82, Ireland Holland in 90 (allegedly), it was the last game anyway.

In reflection, I apologise for my above uttererances. It's been 30 years since we have been to a championship and we are unused how to behave and react a wee bit tbh. Sorry again.

Absolutely because this is the first time in the history of soccer a team played for a draw.

Well to be fair Norn iron played for a draw in the first game against the polish. They just forgot to tell the poles.......

30 years since we played in a big tournament finals and we acted like wee girls. Worst game of the tournament so far and we showed yesterday what we could do when we actually went for it.

So were Northern Ireland "cheating" like the Germans?

    I'm confused-ed-ed.

How can Ukraine be eliminated based on this table, with a game to go? Any football nerd explain it to me? :)

    https://i.imgsafe.org/3295276096.jpg

And the page also said that England, on 4 points, is assured a top three finish, even though the bottom team, Russia, has a point and can reach them in the next game if they win and England lose.

I know there's a whole hierarchy of rules for this, but it's head-spinning!

    Tanx luvs. xxx

If Ukraine beat Poland they are still only on 3 points and lose on the head to head with NI (first way to settle a tiebreaker)

If Russia win, Wales lose, meaning Wales finish on 3 points, England already have 4.

No one could quite cheat like the Germans....... Only joking. I've already said I was being a bit over exuberant. You expect NI to park the bus but not so much with Germany.

Or in Northern Ireland's case against the poles we parked the bus slightly to the side and then were too afraid to get off the bus to defend.

    Germany didn't park the bus!

Hence why the Germans and poles played out a cowardly draw there. I thought the Italians were bad until I saw those twats....

Italy beat and completely outplayed the highest ranked team in the tournament. The Italy performance against Belgium was probably the best performance of the championship so far

How do you park a bus with 69% of the ball?

I fell asleep for the second half. I was watching it on German TV.
When I woke up, Toni Kroos giving an interview in German and I nodded along like I knew what he was talking about for about 3 minutes.

Big game today, come on Italy!!!! Pasta Solo! Mama Mia!

If they win, they are qualified, so they may field a team against us that gives a few of the unused payers a run out.

Hoping for a few yellows for the likes of Bonucci and Chiellini too, gets them out of our game.

You have to love Italy, Buffon and the defence are fantastic. Written off again before the tournament they could be comfortably thru to the knockout stages by 4pm today.

And all this without 2 of their best midfielders!

Looks like the Belgian keeper wasn't too impressed with his team tactics and has reportedly had a bust up with the manager!!

Bit of something hopefully brewing in their camp! and as a bonus, maybe Mignolet could play!

and the tournament not even a week old yet (8pm tonight).

The likes of Italy/Germany, it doesn't matter how good or bad they are, they will always be there or thereabouts in Finals/Semi-Finals,

They just do tournaments so so well.

I'm also a Liverpool fan, yet delighted at the fact the Liverpool keeper might start ahead of the Chelsea keeper tomorrow!
