    Hi all,

Im just trying to get a few bits in order to speed things up! Are there any document the buyer may need from the estate management company before the sale can go through. I will have paid my fees up to the sale date (well the end of the month in which the sale happens), Is there anything else I should be requesting at this stage?

    House sales are Confusing!!!

Yes, the buyer's solicitor will request quite a few things from the management company - documentation about units, recent accounts, etc. etc.

As the buyer is buying a share in the management company, their solicitor will be checking to make that they're not buying into a disaster.

There's not really any way to predict what they'll look for. You could end up spending a few hundred euro getting documentation and then a few hundred more getting additional ones. So you're better off waiting for them to make the request.

Ensure your own affairs are in order - property tax is up to date, water charges paid, etc.

    Thanks Seamus,

I didnt realise all these things would cost me! I dont think I had a real clue of how much selling a house actually costs - its really stacking up! Ok now to find my lpt log in details then - at least thats one other thing off the list!
