Disappointed with Arya just shrugging off a clearly fatal wound and then running and jumping like nothing had happened. Opium doesn't help with sepsis, nor does dipping your fresh wound in the open sewage of a medieval canal. People wouldn't have great odds of surviving that today with modern medical intervention. Back then it was a death sentence. And this isn't applying real world logic to a fantasy series. It's applying internal consistency to the show. Previous wounds like this in the show were a slow, painful death.

Disappointed with Arya traipsing around without a care in the world and no Needle, after her well justified caution at the end of the episode before that. The Faceless Men explicitly threatened her if she failed again, so she knew she was strolling around the headquarters of an elite assassin's guild trying to kill her. An earlier episode showed Arya examining the old woman face up close, yet when that woman walked up to stab her she seemed oblivious.

Enjoyed the episode, but maybe having read so much in here last week, was hoping for something much, much more from Arya, would have liked at least one of the boards theories to have come true.

Blackfish storyline, complete damp squib. My foolish female heart did break a tiny bit with Jaime and Brienne, sometimes no words are needed.

Poor episode. This season has been a mixed bag but still better than last season.

The Riverrun story was disappointing for a finish. I did like Brienne & Jamie's scene. I'll not say it was a pointless side-plot yet since who knows what is to come overall but it was crap to see the Blackfish just walk off like that and not decide to say "f**k it, get me on the boat and I'll die helping my niece." Edmure was a dead man with the Freys and Lannisters if he didn't obey orders, would he not have been a man and get inside the castle and stick two fingers up to them. If he's gonna die, die with his own and not surrender.

Glad Arya is finally going to leave Bravos, it was a little OTT her able to jump and run around but she was clearly in agony and you do what you can to survive when you've got her determination. I'm not going to dwell on how real it all was or not, there's bloody dragons, zombies and resurrections in the show ffs.

More Mountain demolishing the faith militant please and please give Tyrion something to do, he's been wasted this season (no pun intended).

Now that Dani is back I'm hoping the season doesn't end with a win for her in Mereen followed by the Drogon flying off and the screen cutting to black as it lets out a screech. Been there, done that too many times.

Well feck Meereen getting attacked. Wanted to hear the punch-line to Tyrion's joke about the brothel.

Wakest episode of the season so far for me, although I still think it's been a pretty strong season overall. Few questions, though....

What happened to the Tully army after the castle was retaken? Do they now serve the Freys, were they killed, or were they set free? Once the Blackfish knew the game was over, why didn't he instruct them to leave with Brienne?

Also, what rumour was Cersei discussing with Maester Qyburn?

Tully's are bottom of the food chain now. They'll answer to the Freys who answer to the Lannisters.

I assume their army will be allowed to live since Edmure has promised to be a good little vassal Lord.
