As the title says what do ye find the best mix for getting thistles, seeding docks and a few ragwort and rushes in grazing fields! I tried D50 at the recommended rate with fairy liquid into the mix and got a poor kill ! Also did a patch with gallop 1/50 and molasses with good success!
    What works best for ye?

weedlicker i have is with the bristles, only use it on rushers

60litre tank and use 600ml of mcpa

happy with results so far, whatever weed you spray give it enough water

tried it on docks and not a great job - tears the leaf rather than coating

Part of my problem was I applied it during the dry spell

Have gone with third Gallop, third sticker and a third water on rushes here using a carpet roller. Fairly pleased with the results so far only thing is you have to go back in the second year to take out the wheel tracks.

We just use Gallup at the recommended dosage and no bother with results. We only target rushes though, I don't think a locker is any good on the other weeds mentioned.

    Typically get ~80% kill.

Will be a loss when as looks likely products like Gallup.Roundup etc will be gone off market.
Lickers are most effective on rushes, spraying better for the other weeds you mentioned.
