looks like the rain isn't gonna amount to much tomorrow in the east, drizzle at best, some places may stay completely dry. Could be some showers in the evening.

almost 23C here in Meath today with some hazy sunshine, feeling very warm and sticky indeed, although not as intense as the heat in Galway yesterday.

Moderate pitter patter of rain here in West Clare! Nice to hear. That breaks out 19 day drought! The grass certainly needs it!

    Dont say that

It could be 19 more days before a completely dry day

Joanna said on forecast "well thats the end of it" like a talking weather front

So far in Sligo wev beaten 2015s high temperature 7 times since the end of May.

2006 was a bit like this as was 1983 on a grander scale

Rain has arrived in Castlebar, nearly 7mm fell in about 10 minutes of what could only be described as monsoon rain around 05.30 this morning.

Last night was yucky - worst for a couple of years. Overcast and damp on the ground.

Where have you been for 2 years :)

I had a lovely swim in the local lake last night. Flat calm and warm water.

It is a shock to see the rain this morning though.

Despite how the rainfall radar chart looks, its still dry here in North Meath and is brightening up after a cloudy morning

Disgustingly humid and warm out as the rain is just starting to stop. Still very light rain, yet things are starting to dry up anyway!

    West Clare

light rain here earlier wasn't enough to wet the ground. Still feeling very warm and humid.

Up in Galway, it's turned into a fairly nice evening, breezy and cooler but grand.

16 degrees here in Castlebar and another bright end to the day after some rain/drizzle earlier. Calm. 1010-steady.

Hope all your gardens are well watered now. I think its another day in Dublin of the extended slow moving shower. Downpour in D6W no really visable on the weather rain radar. Looks like rain until at least next Friday...

Grange's June 2016 statistics up to 15:00 on the 11th

Rainfall: 11.8mm (25% of the LTA)
Mean temperature: 16.0c (+3.7c above the LTA)
Sunshine: 87 hours (49% of the LTA)

Though temperatures will fall during the next few days, June 2016 is already my warmest June on record. Everyday this month so far except yesterday has recorded at least 20c.

The west are getting all the good weather this year (from March onwards to now)... the east is getting little of the warmth and sun... usually it's the other way round.

The first poor day here at Grange was last Monday... and was Friday (yesterday) not that poor at your area?
