Boards Paintball & Beers Summer '03 - All welcome

Venue: Skirmish, Glendalough,
Co. Wicklow, Ireland
Afterwards: The Whitehorse
Date: Sunday, 20th July
Time: 10am to ~5pm

What €60 gets you:
NOTE: €40 if you only want 120 paintballs
NOTE: Add €5 for the Bus (which will be leaving an hour before the event
near o'connel bridge)

The gun (of course) with 480 paintballs. Protective face mask and
padded camouflage overalls.

Breakfast will be served on arrival and a pasta meal during the day. You
can't bring alcohol on the day. But is boarders + beer + weapons ever
a good idea? :ninja: We will be going to the Whitehorse afterwards for
beers.

There will be a number of games during the day. You can read about them on
the site. We will have the run of the place to ourselves and teams can be
picked on the day so no-one is left out.

The easiest way to get there is to drive. There will be a coach organised
from the city centre (near o'connel bridge) with easy access from bus &
train stations. Allow €5 for the bus. For driving directions

You must be over 16. Or look it. Send me an email if you are in the 16-18
age bracket as i need to know numbers for the venue.

Pay upfront if you can, otherwise pay half now and half + the €5 for the
bus that morning. (paying upfront saves collections on the day so we can
start quicker). The last payment will be accepted is the END of June! Full
payment methods and details are in the "details" section of the LAN.

Only signups on www.room101.org will be
taken into account, so signup to make sure you get a place.

Mortons, and Alan Martin coaches both have double decker buses which would be handy.

Ohh and to any cs'ers, any 1337 config's will have to be handed up at the gates.

Not so much, I'm going to glasgow to a a building where there will be lots of drugs/people who can get drugs..... any sane person would bring firearms.....

I'll probably be coming from the cork direction too but count me in im game for it ive been there a few times its quite good but if your a trigger happy tackelberry type your gonna need at least 60 to 80 yoyo's

Oh one more thing Are we allowed take prisoners of war from the other teams and make them play russian roullette like in raindeer games??

Im still considering... is there a limit on how many go? the only other boards thingy i have been to is Darkside Lan (once).. So i only have met a few of you.. dont actually know any of you.. but still... shooting sounds fun

I went last month with my companyu, there wwas one guy in particular that used to piss people off.
Man did he get crucified.
He had to take the monday and tue off and limped in on wed full of bruises.
He won't be going again lol.
Its great fun tho.

There's a few places online (google "paintball markers" and you'll find it. I have links, but they're at home). You can get big tubs of the stuff for sod-all money.

my brother dosent use boards, but after talking to stan it was ok that he came as long as he signed up on the site (the room101 site not here) under a different username to make sure all the numbers added up

OK, looks like they want the fee upfront. I might be able to get them to take a 50% deposit, but it means i will be forking out €1600 to them to secure the place. If people can pay beforehand please do.

I'm talking to the skirmish manager tomorrow about the possiblity of us bringing our own bullets and the possibilty of people over 16 being able to come along without probs.

A 53seater coach would cost €5 each. If that is not enough, we will have to get a double decker or 2 buses. Pricing to be confirmed on those.

well, due to the fact that i am poor i wont be able to attend. but i want people to feel pain, severe pain, so when they are down and it looks like they have given up and dont want to fight anymore, shoot them twice more.
once for the fact that they are weak and have given up and the other for me cos i wont be there, it can be my pain inflicted on them

Updates: It will be €65 for the day if you get the bus. €60 if you make your own way. Pay upfront if you can. €30 if your skint and the rest on the day.

The €40 offer for just 120 bullets still stands.

Its €20 for the 360 bullets.

People aged 16-18 are allowed
