personally, i have to like her face, everything else is a preference.
like i'd prefer her not to be taller than me(im an ickle 5' 8"), slim, anything but a nappy arse, and confident.

what i hate/can't ever imagine understanding:

nacker ear rings
fa... overweight women who wear clothes too small for them
good looking women who plaster themselves with makeup
body piercings...

i cant understand that either. i always think of them getting dressed and looking in the mirror and saying "yep youre looking good, now time to hit the town". most get fat and refuse to accept it and wear their old bras. you see fat oozing out of the cups.

i cant stand women who use the phrase "typical man"
same with men who say "typical woman" which i find rarer...

Physical appearance isn't too important really but fancying someone I actually find physically unatractive is going to be a bit harder tbh. I can't help that, it's hard-coded.

Very little make-up if any at all.

I've also noticed that a lot of the girls I have ever seriously fancied or had relationships with have had unusual eyes. Not unusual in the cross-eyed sense. More unusual in the have-to-stop-for-breath-after-making-eye-contact sense.

All the physical stuff takes a back seat to personality though.

Kindness
Self respect
Independance (but they'll stil let me treat them just for the sake of it occasionally)
The ability to shut up. (Something pretty special imo. It's nice to not constantly have to be doing something for fear of a little silence)
Honesty (can't stand dishonesty as I always try to be completely honest)
Considerate

As a female this is an interesting thread. Everyone wants someone kind, reliable, loving, attractive, etc... (and the list goes on) but what about physical features such as

hair type (long, short, curly, straight, red, black, brown, blond)
build (curvy, skinny, big, small, tall)
skin tone (pale, freckly, dark, sallow)
eyes (blue, brown, green)
dress sense (modern, hip, hippie, mumsy, sporty, elegant)

Just curious is all.

I like the southern europe kind of look. Italian women ... mmm. (apres-razor of course) Always seem to end up with scandinavians though. (not complaining too strenuously!) And 19/20 of ma bitches are blonde.

Has to be intelligent.
Has to have a flat stomach.
A face to die for. (strong features, sort of angular)
Good hair a must, brunette preferably.
Dark eyes.
Good teeth.
Very good dress sense.
Tall preferably but not too important.
Very independant and NOT clingy.

TBH, so long as the face is not worth a slap with a whet fish and she's not a size 16 I honestly dont give a flying fúck about the other stuff.

Long, straightish, I don't really mind about colour as long as it's *their* colour.. that whole streaky/badly dyed action isn't for me.

modern/hip/sporty is fine, as long as there isn't the impression that it's an 'ensemble' out of a magazine purchased 5 seconds ago, I really hate that. I have a lot of respect for girls who naturally dress well in clothes that suit them as opposed to just wearing whatever is newest on 'off the rails'.

I think most guys go for the 'natural' look these days, purely because the right clothes and cosmetics are so nifty at fooling us at to what a girl *really* looks like.

In terms of personality I prefer someone direct, relaxed and confident with her own pursuits, I really do not have the time or patience to deal with some kind freakish/clingy/insecure person..

Biggest turn-offs for me would be smoking, gum chewing, annoying accent, too much make-up.

Any women from categories 2 & 3 are usually fine with most men. IMO, a 'fat' women is one who has lost her womanly figure due to her indulgence on pies. Good gaugers are - does her hand look like a surgical glove blown up like a balloon, is their a fat fold between her hand and wrist, or does she have a big beer belly? (Note, there is a massive difference between a beer belly and the tiny little sexy belly that most women complain about)

If the answer to any of these is yes, they would fit in with most men's definition of 'fat'.
