Just wondering has anyone used a Polar S810? I presently have, and like a S210, but want the ir link. Can anyone let me know if they would recommend this upgrade please.

Look here for a side by side comparison -> http://www.polar.fi/bin/get/id/4LlTegXxE.0.0.4LlTevq0i.4LlTekZhw/eng_comparison_basic.html

I use and also like an M21... basic but has everything i need. Works very well when used in conjunction with the polar online training diary at http://www.polarpersonaltrainer.com/

Have you used the polar fitness test feature much? Is it accurate?

Ahhh I know about the comparison thing, I just wanted some recommendations from someone who actually has an S810.

As for the polar fitness test - its not too bad. It does depend alot on the information(activity level) that you put in. I put the wrong one in originally and it was over estimating my VO2max, but once I fixed this it gets close enough to the values I got in the cooper test. its not as good for the predicted MHR but VO2max is the important one.

The fitness test is very good for gauging your improvement - not matter how accurate it is if your fitness increases so does it. All in all I like it.
