They were pretty good live, but the sound in the RDS was really muddy, so you couldn't hear them clearly. But when they dropped 'Blind' into the fold during the gig, it did sound AWESOME! Their last album was pants, apart from the 2 singles they released. They could and will never better their first album, imho.

life is peachy sucked big time, even the korn guys said that

i dunno why everyone hates issues, i quite like it....and the new one is decent as well

i doubt their career is over, but they need to repeat the success of follow the leader to remain one of the best nu metal bands around

Well that was the last gig in the RDS they played, I was there and ohmigod it was a SHAM! I know Korn are a pretty good live band but as usual they were let down by **** Irish promoters, **** Irish venues and **** sound engineers! Although even the best sound eng's would have had their work cut out making any band sound good in that glorified cattle shed!

Yep, thats the one, not their 1996 gig in the SFX. They were ok, but the sound quality was, in a word, terrible! But 'Blind' did kick ass! Its the one song by Korn that you would recognise, no matter how bad the sound quality.

i used to like them alot but since the new album ive lost all interest in them... i thought issues was a great album along with follow the leader but thats just my opinion..i dont think their career is over either but they will need to come up with a lot better album then Untouchables if they want to keep their fans happy!!!!

There first album was ****in brilliant.its still the first think i put on when i wanna hear some rock but after that you have to pick and choose between songs.
eg...BEST KORN SONGS.

Thats because I don't know any of their rap-metal stuff. Their old Thrashy stuff was good though. But Scott Ian is a bit of a ****ér alright. And Anthrax play solo's, Korn don't. And the stuff I do like without solos are less predictable than Korn, like Fear Factory for example. They are very unpredictable. With Korn its always intro, main riff, main riff, soft bit, heavy riff, outro. And that is the same with most of their songs.

Jesus christ youre complaining their music is the same format yet it sounds like the only thing you have a prob with is that you dont like the format. If Head launched into a screeching solo in the middle of "Blind" how fukking stupid would that sound. Music progresses by bands mixing it up a bit. Korn changed Metal music (for a while anyway) and that is a big achievement. Every single metal band in the world used to do the solo thing and quite frankly everybody stopped giving a toss. Korn dropped the solos and downtuned their instruments and were ORIGINAL!!

I never said that I had a problem with their first album. Read back to my first post. Yes their first album was original whoopdedoo! They didn't follow up with anything special, which made each of their songs sound the same, which in turn made the first album even more boring. You can be original by scratching your balls against the pickups, but that doesn't go to say that its GOOD original music you are making and pardon the pun but Korn just sound bollocks half the time IMO.

If you are an original band you have to keep updating your sound or you are going to be a samey samey band like Korn are, and which RATM were. And that is not desirable music to listen to, IMO. Pantera are a band who were original with their "groove metal" sound, and they have been updating their sound as time went on. None of their songs sound the same, which is why they are one of the most popular metal bands around.

Yeah... I like them. He was saying that "Cowboys From Hell" was a gay name... It probably is, but it is still one class album which is just about all that I am worried about. Tool is a very gay name, but they still play damn good music. That is the point that I am making. Korn just don't cut it, they've been the same for years. Their self titled album was decent, but after that they just went to shíte. If anyone can prove any differently please do so.
