btw...yet ANOTHER win for Laois today.

As we have discussed before the leauge is no indication as to how the c'ship will go. So you can expect Meath to make it to the Semies ( I havent seen the draw)
you can expect to see Dublin win through in Lenister
Yuo can expect Galway to hammer everyone in Connaught
you can expect Kerry to beat cork and Ulster will be as tight s ever with Donegal, Armagh, Tyrone and cavan all feelding good teams.

But nice try...see you in croaker...no wait laois wont even make it that far.

Does anyone ahve the C'ship draw ?

Pity Cavan are going to beat them when the teams meet.

If Micko could not win Sam with Kildare he wont do it with Laois, and if HE cant do it woth Laois noone can. The moral of the story being that come championship time Laois will be back to being the also rans that they always are.

ive got the entire draw...as my dad wrote it out on a bit of paper...but your not getting it, now that uve annoyed me!!!!!

you should have used are in the past tense...ie. were

not this year. Christ, tis unbelievable the change in the team and the players since Micko took ore.

look at Delaney...best footbal he ever played and defo one of the best dead ball kickers in the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,598 ✭✭✭Yavvy

Kam, your looking at a sub standard team through rose coloured glasses, thats forgiveable.

But dont be setting yourself up for dissapointment . Laois are still not "real" contenders.

I hate typing stuff like this, I just knwo its going to come back and bite me in the ass.

Are we meant to have heard of this guy. I know of a Kilkenny hurler called Delaney, is that who you are talking about.

If you followed GAA and club football and such, you know him for Stradbally in Laois. He WAS one of Laois' great under achievers for the senior team. never fulfilled his potential...till now :D

I follow both club and county GAA fairly closely, but not only do I not think I could name a Laois player, I am not sure I could name a Laois club. Even the one you just mentioned has already slipped from my mind as it not something I am likely to require for future information.

I feel laois could challenge for leinster this year, i mean, look at kildare last year, they weren't powerful, but still made it to the leinster final!
So, alany, you agree tyrone have a strong side now?

    hour and a half ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 489 ✭✭ironbrew

I feel obliged to stick up for my Ulster counter part!!

Anyways theres not that bad of a smell in Cavan...your thinking or Armagh, where you can smell Mr. Kernan ****ting himself for the next time they meet Tyrone....and Dublin

Back on topic...what pitch is this match we are arguing over the result being played on?

Depends on which road you take I guess. Would you be coming from the Athlone direction or Dublin direction. I think both would be an hour and a half depending on traffic.

It's taking place in Kingspan/Breffni Park, Cavan.

When was the Sponsors name added. I think that is a first for a GAA ground. Just goes to show it is true what they say about Cavan people being Greedy.

Anyway just to get back on topic, and to make sure that everyone knows, come September Coman Goggins will be lifting the Sam and Dublin will be Leinster and All Ireland Champions. The rest of you boys can ramble on about Ulster as much as you like, that is unimportant!

It was added sometime last year. Kingspan paid the county board so much over five years to have their name on the grounds. And if you believe that about Cavan people being Greedy then you need your head checked. The money is actually going back into developing Kingspan/Breffni Park. There are two sides of the pitch that have yet to be developed.

That stereotype about Cavan people was brought up by a Cork person by the way. So what does that tell you?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,832 ✭✭✭Waylander

That stereotype about Cavan people has been around for years. It was just a joke so relax. At least you don't get called a thieving knacker everywhere liuke us poor innocent Dubs.
