i always wanted to burn the guy from the milk ad
i always thought he'd make a great fire

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,775 ✭✭✭Spacedog

Yeah, that wooden bastard freaks me out big time. That milk ad was just the beginning of his advertising carear. he had a long term contract with the couprenol varnish company whereby they would keep his surface in pristene condition with the finest gloss finish they could manufacture for the odd TV appearence. But due to creative diffrences and a rise in popularity of the sarcastic ronseal guy and the term "It does exactly what is says on the tin" being entered into the Oxford English Dictionary in late '97 the contract was terminated and he lived his remaining days drinking white spirit under a bridge. this caused his protective coating to crack and peel. This combined with the humid, swelling conditions present under the bridge lead to his downfall. Goodnight sweet prince *sob*.

I'll be back... on the 30th of June, for another 6 months...
I used to be ITS1012, before the 6 month work placement thing (ie; before x-mas). I'm the tall dude, who wore the trench-coat.
As for the COMPSOC, dunno if it runs over the summer, but I plan to play games so I may try to get it up :ninja:
Hehe; I'll appoint myself boss guy. It won't b any fun, tho without good gamers (snowball, sicnarf, shi7head, or ivan), but wot the hell...
As fer games, I have no idea wots not workin (but I'm told a lot of problems got fixed; well done guys!), and wot is, but if there's nought there, I'll try to get some. If any of the COMPSOC live in Carlow, I'll post up if the COMPSOC goes ahead, so youse may wonder in (a valid 02/03 Carlow ID card will be proberly needed; don't wanna piss off the libary dudes).
