    Oh i know. I'm just asking in relation to this thread. I've never been in Carlow. Just wonder what's so bad about it

    Its a great place to go to college the best,nearly everyone lives away from home,everything within walking distance etc the only real problem with it is that everything doesnt amount to very much:)

    What else could carlow need??
    In Carlow town we have
    2 night clubs
    A college and an IT
    Golden Disks and Rainbow records
    A Swimming pool
    around 40 pubs (Just a guess)
    ALDI wooHoo
    Superquinn , Tescos............etc....
    2 24 hour shops!
    Lotsa off licences................
    what else do you want??????????

    and the nexus in scraggs is something of a 3rd club..

    The tower and Buzz's are pretty decent with decent music, and a good mixture of people

    I was torn between Plant Dude in Buzz's and BlueMoose in The Tower on Thursday night! The Tower won cause theres more sexy ladies there!!

    All that was in Buzzes was a bunch of ugly rock-chicks. I'm not sayin that rock-chicks are ugly, just the ones that were in there!

    di yes all c where when phoenix were playin they let these boys get up an do a few songs....were dey ne good...their mates of mine..they always go see phoenix n they said theyd let me mates get up n do a few songs...but they were drunk so i dont know whether dey were ne good r not!!!!!

    totally agrees with they will give anyone a board these days.

    well if you have a problem with that, take it up on the admin board. we deserved our own board and judging by the traffic it has received since it has opened I think it was a good idea, it can only help the college and it's students imo.
