    heres the deal!!

ive noticed since the start of my training sessions on the rugby pitch there is a serious lack of water!! after weeks and i mean weeks of complaining to the coach he has finally began to bring waterbottles out to the pitch during taining..ive done this by the way from day one but for myself only on the pitch and i always drink water at college..no yukky coke for me..

with the rubgy season coming to a close shortly i think he has left this a little too late.the presence of water should be an integral part of an training session to rehydrate muscle and such...

so the presence of water during training? your thoughts please!!

I actually dont think I've ever been to a training session with water there.
I guess it is important but if you do a lot of running then you're gonna cramp if you take too much water, so maybe it's not that important for it to be there.
Actually, no, it should be there, because there have been times when I'm dying for a drink but there's nothing there.
So yeah I think water is an important thing to have at training, as important as equipment.

Wtaer does not cause cramping. Low sodium levels can cause cramping. Extreme over-hydration can cause hyponatremia by diluting blood sodium levels.

Well clear urine is usual if you are drinking plenty of water, but bear in mind there are other things which will alter the colour of your urine from prescription drugs to simply Vitamin B2.

It is true though, water is essential throughout training, I usually take a litre of water and a 500ml of Lucozade sport for any session.
