about 6+ years ago roger sanchez started calling himself "The S Man", myself & a friend started using the names "T-Man" and "P-Man" in a totally pisstaking way.
the name kind of grew on me after a while, i'm pretty lazy, so i eventually dropped the hyphen & turned it to the lowercase 'tman' that we all know & love today...

my dad even calls me it now

I didn't choose that username. It was chosen by the original Yellum way back when the internet wasn't around and a "World War" was something that could never happen.

When the current Yellum finds he can no longer keep up with discussions about present events he knows it is time to retire and move on to other pursuits such as stamp collecting and baby seal clubbing.

This yellum chooses a sucessor who will have all the "skills (notice old school old school spelling of skills ) to fight a verbal barrage of facts and fiction and to win arguments single handedly (this bit was added by the third yellum who had a terrible gardening accident which resulted in the loss of an arm ) while also being able to create new areas of discussion and increasing communication between many people "

Once the sucessor is chosen he is sent to a tibetan monastery where silence is enforced. There the new Yellum has to master the art of non verbal discussions. As your skills increase you are blindfoled and have to keep up with a non verbal discussion with an opponent who is not handicapped with the blindfold.

This is layer 1 of training. There are 4.5 more layers to master, but I won't go into them as they are almost but not quite secret.

Once the trips around the world for training are complete and all types of communications are mastered, the present yellum hands over the Yellum ring of babble power to the new Yellum.

This ring is the only way to open the Yellum Babble Cave, which for hundreds of years was located under a mansion owned by the Yellum Trust, but due to cash flow problems 50 years ago it was sold. Its now an Esso Petrol station. (the fumes are a killer but quite intoxicating at the same time)

The Yellum Babble Cave is the primary location where the Yellum online persona posts from now.

So, thats how I got my user name. Although that doesn't explain where yellum itself came from. Well, I'll save that for another day.

    My actual name is Donal.
    Some shorten it to Don.
There was a famous individual called Don Juan.
    I thought hmmmmm, eureeka (!) Don1.
Unfortunately a lot of people don't get and they just think Don was taken so I just stuck the number on. Wrong with a capital R, I mean W.
