If that was to be true then there would be no prime numbers as every prime number would have a negative prime too, (7 =-7 / -1) (7 = 7 / 1) correct me there if my maths is wrong, so there would be four numbers which when divided make seven.

The reason that there are no negative primes is because by definition a prime number is a number that has no positive divisors besides one and itself.

Again long time since college, all corrections gladly accepted...

    1) It points out that if time travel were possible, you could go back in time and kill your grandfather. Cen be got around by using a 'parallel universe' approach.

    2) don't know the strict definition but if you go very fast time slows down.

    3) has been experimentally shown by measuring signals from e.g. GPS satellites

    4) ???

    5) A shortcut through spacetime

6/7) Would get scrambled on the way through. Energy required to create one of usable size is enormous.

    8) ???

    9) just a concept (?) - how do you define the direction of time except by saying that entropy increases with increasing time, you can't remember things in the future, etc etc.

Can you give us some context here? Do you mean a delay in the 20th century or generally? In part the delay was due to lack of need before 1800 (not enough traffic), lack of vehicle speed before 1900, lack of electricity, light bulbs and suitable switching mechanism in the late 1900s and in part because no one thought of it ... it goes on.

Why did Coca Cola not sell very well when introduced to China? Victor..true ...but what was the meaning..

The Camera was invented in which country?

Read my link above, there is no one answer without clarifiaction of what a "camera" is?

What kind of creature is an ibex?

I said antelope but one reference says a goat, where does one draw the line? Of course the are (mostly) mountain types.

    Coca Cola....

Are you thinking of "Bite the Wax Tadpole" ???

If so, its not entirely true...but close enough.

Check out Snopes (as usual) : http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/tadpole.asp

The corrolary of this is that after enough such embarrassments, companies started spending significant money on making sure their slogan was not offensive in any language.

I believe Wang Computers spent $500,000 in developing their "internationally correct" slogan of "Wang Cares".

    jc

(edited to correct süpendiong to spending.)
