Collapsed Lung and flying.

Before christmas i suffered from 2 spontaneous pneumothoraxes (collapsed lungs). Was admitted to hospital had 2 chest drains inserted and lung finally came back up. I know a few people here have had similar experiences with their lungs. I have booked a holiday in june to greece and am kinda worried about flying. The change…

The statistics are something like 90% men to 10% women. Its a real rarity in women, much like menopause in men.

I suffered a pneumothoraxes four years ago.
I was 17 at the time but a non smoker. when i was in the hospital the doctor asked me if i smoked and i told him i did not. When my parents arrived he brought them aside and told them that even though i had denied it i was atually a smoker.
Now this is a touchy subject at home and i got quite an ear load over the following weeks. If i had been able to walk at the time i would have killed the bastard.
