Did anyone find that they had trouble lifting the weights they done before the holidays.

I dropped down 1 weight on most machine.

Did not go at all. Xmas is a time of food & indulgence so going to gym not quite on the list of things to do.
Yes in the new year, a few more pound to burn off, but it was fun putting them on.

Heading back to the Gym this week after pretty much not going since November.

However we have just got a brand new gym in work thats opening Monday. Really nice too. I was one of the people that decided what was needed. :) Might avail of the work gym for fitness stuff and my own gym for weights.

My brother and I went three days over the holidays, gym closed rest of the time. But those three days were the ultimate in intensity and concentration!! We killed ourselves to earn the right to enjoy our holidays with no nagging doubts! And training with a partner lets u do negative reps,a new area of pain as I usually lift solo. Not many want to train like I do and one of the few is my bro., so an opportunity not to be missed! Great buzz and impressed by how strong we both turned out to be!

Indeed, it was good fun and good hard sessions. It more than made up for the two weeks of drunkeness ;)

Managed to go 3 times altogether. Going to try go every day after work the the next few weeks for some cardio work (I'd love to lose a stone!) and I'll do some weights at the weekend.

I even went down on St. Stephen's morning to work off the Christmas Day bloatedness and the bloody place was closed! :)
