New sports and leisure club in North Co. Dublin

    After 10 years of hard work and campaigning, a small group of people's efforts have finally come to fruition and a fantastic achievement has been reached with this brand new sports & leisure club in North Co. Dublin opening it's doors for business for the first time this Sunday (December 8th).

    It has a very large gym with modern professional equipment and a fully qualified instructor, a sports hall of international basketball arena standard, sauna, steamroom, snooker tables, and a full bar and ancillary rooms with function and conference facilities.

    There are some very special events coming up there, including an official opening ceremony in January and a huge New Years Eve party night of entertainment.

    It's less than a mile from my house... it's a beautifully designed building with a fantastic looking interior... it's warm and cosy... it's the Donabate Portrane Community Club ... and more information on it and the facilities can be found at www.dpcc.ie [site soon to be updated with much more information and photos]

    What price do they charge per year?
    Can you 'pay as you go'?
