Apolgies if this is posted on the wrong board. Mods feel free to move...

I went up into the attic on Sat and noticed a load of flies and eggs on the rafters. Has anyone ever had this before ? Is it unusual/anything to worry about. Should we get out rentakill or the flyspray ?

When you say flies do you mean the common house fly or maybe blue bottles
In the last few weeks I have noticed that there are a lot of flies that look almost identical to the honey bee coming into my garage they head for the rafters and once they find a spot settle down most likely to hibernate for the winter the are harmless so I let them alone they will move out next spring
