could i make a suggestion? as far as i can see, noone has actually looked at anyone elses music- it's all just posting with no reviews. which i imagine is no good to anyone. how about everyone picks one band to listen to and review in return for getting their stuff reviewed? it would be to everyone's benefit. i'm going to have some time tomorrow evening, so i'm going to do one then- hope someone else will think this is a good idea too.

I've listened to nearly everything here, haven't posted any reviews though. If anyone wants to, ahead. And by reviews, I don't mean lashings.

well, you're the mod, and while you don't have a duty of care or anything, it's good that you're up to speed..;)

i think it would be more worthwhile to get reviews of the stuff, rather than it getting lost in 5 pages of same... maybe a reviews thread? and you're bound to get some disparaging reviews, would that really be a problem? there's no point in everyone saying you're great if you're not, it does noone any good...

    Relica

    Two songs up..

    Escape

    and Run

    It's indie guitar based music..

Let us know what you think on the reviews thread,

I'll review 1 other bands track(s) if they're indie type music,

I don't think there's much point in people who are into metal bands
    reviewing singer songwriter stuff etc

Band in Cork called Kudos. Genre would be, hmmm jazz/rock I guess. Not much of the jazz side here unfortunately. They've got samples of songs with a horn section and others with strings. But the websites still in the working so not enough storage space just yet.

We just put up a new song,

Just us messing around with some effects and some chemical brothers type beats. Not some major production, just us, a garage and an 8-track.

Considering the simply enormous numbers of links to various songs in this thread, I think it unlikely that anyone shall actually go to the trouble of listening to this but nonetheless go along to: www.bandwithnoname.tk if you feel so inclined and let me know what you think.

I think you'll probably like what you hear, but then again I would say that:)

    Thanks

Tailor Made Project has some new stuff on the website www.tailormadeproject.com from a brand new recording studio in town called Creamy Sonic Studios.

You can also listen to a lower quality version of the songs using a nifty streaming radio thing that isn't stopped by firewalls and/or if you're suffering from a s-hit dial-up connection.

Check out my bands site !!!

A couple of mp3 samples on there. Only two done in a studio, the rest in me singer's box room (COS WE'RE POOR, OKAY ???)

It's even got it's own forum!!!! [I'm not trying to rob boards members or anything ;)]

Oh it's very simple though, no frills. Two reasons for this - 1. I'm too lazy to do any better and 2. it downloads faster for the poor people on 56k!!

    http://www.ventilinpimps.com/

And if you missed that, it's in me sig below anyway.........

Dahlia have just completed their four track demo, with all tracks available to download on our site. Any comments are very welcome, let us know what you think on our message board.

We recorded it live in under 10 hours, and since we were so tight for time there are a few rough edges...so take it easy!
