First line from a Wu-Tang Clan track, rapped by Ghostface Killah.
Song is ''I Can't Go To Sleep''.

Sig used to be a line from Brainfreeze by Dj Shadow, but I grew tired of it. Maybe someday in the future it will return. :D

The picture is of Andy Kaufman, which I got in google or altavista and didn't bother removing the borders they put on it.
And the text is from the song "Breakdown" by Guns 'n' Roses, and the film Vanishing point.

The text is something that seeped out one time, from some dirty great black hole on mars. No, pluto. No, wait... Black holes exist in space, not planets. Oh, fss. No idea.

So anyway, I spewed that forth on irc, and jaggeh commented.
It then found its way down there.

It was a wild consortium of drunkards, slishods and fruit that spawned this hob-trob conglomeration of random character strings and image tags you see before your eyes.
    Or tulips.
Either way I'm making off with this penguin..............

i usually turn sigs off, because those sig pictures are mostly lame, mostly.

I made mine up myself:) But if i had to give credit to anything it would be the naked gun films-they were filled with dozens of quotes which my brain must have picked up and used them to form an original:cool: So while not actually from any of the films it was in effect influenced by quotes such as"Like a midget at a urinel i had to keep on my toes".:D :D
I have used the odd one of tv though-a former one being Mrs Doyles tirade against the evils of sex(can you imagine it father?your husband there with his lad in his hand...........)

I have no sig, haven't found one yet that's small, and interesting. Watch this space.

Red Dwarf, from the episode marooned. starbug crashed on an ice planet and dave and rimmer are stranded with very little supplies. it comes down to eating the two last pieces of food left on board the ship, a pot noodle or a can of dog food. dave chooses the dog food, takes a bite and says the line.....cue sig.......

Mines a little diddy and a pic from one of my favourite series' "The League of Gentlemen"

Oh how i love that show.

In the picture is Papa Lazarou (the ring leader of a travelling circus/freakshow, oh and he likes to sell pegs. ) with one of his wives who needs to use the bathroom. Papa Lazarou has many many wives and he uses this cunning ploy to gain entry into another womans house so as he can steal her away and make her his wife aswell.

Ye should seriously watch it if ye havnt already.
A little twisted and strange at times, but then thats humour for ye. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,309 ✭✭✭✭Bard

The bit that says 'Bard - now I'm talking' was modeled on the Boards.ie logo and "now ye're talking" catchphrase. The bit to the right of it I found while looking for an image of the Infinity symbol on the web. Don't remember why I was looking for the Infinity symbol. There's something about some knights or other there too... allegedly.

Oh and the quote in blue text is from Tyler Durden in the movie Fight Club.
