Who was everyone's favorite RA?
I can't remember half their names so when i get a fair idea i'll put in a poll.
But for now, spill the beans!

Dermot and Stephen were the soundest, in my opinion, though i didn't know many of them well enough to judge

PS. you can only have 10 items in a poll, and there were 13 RA's, although we can safely discount Rory and Chris

WHO can safely discount Rory and Chris??????!?!!??!? Tey were likely my second and third favorite RAs!! Ciara Laughnane was, of course, my favorite. Sweet little Ciara with all 50 of those guys in her course.... I think I will take up Computer nerding. It could be good for me.

u really have a bit of an obsession with all them boys in my course!!!! and i'm an electronic engineer (offically now cos i got all the letters and stuff about graduation in the post yesterday) not that i dont love computer people too

its so sad but i'm no longer an ra. i'm in limerick with the little kids ctyi and they're all in class at the moment so i get to email.
i'm sure adam is working really hard

Sorry ciara, u were so sound but my least fav goes to your brother for as it was put in the newsletter he left me with 'a newfound inability to tell the time' when he broke my 120$ watch after he retaliated in the soccer match like a little girl after i humiliatingly tackled him!!!

The best RA was my RA STEPHEN BURKE!!!!!!!! He rocked! with sarah second cos shes a Laois gal!!!

ha, laois, everyone hates LAOIS. i mean, look at the name!! it doesn't spell anything remotely like what it sounds. i suppose it probably comes from having inhabitants whose favourite past times involved this little thing called bestiality

Bestiality is merely as popular in Laois as it is in any other county. And it'd be a welcome change from whatever inbreeding centre you've come from!!!! And I'm fairly sure that's the first post where i mentioned the cruel behaviour of evil Rory who tried to have me kicked. I have a photo of Bazookatone being stretched out by two guys 2 or 3 years ago! It's very funny! And for the record Laois have shot out celebrities like Darina Allen and that guy who reads the news according to Aisling? And we won an All Ireland last year! And we drove through it on the way to Birr and no one complained more than twice!!!!

I think that my fave RA was Dermot cos he wrote me a really nice note at the end. And although i didnt actually talk to him til the last night he seemed dead on and really cool. Go Dermot!!!:D

My favourite RA of all time would have to be... either declan from last year or peter burke from 99. declan cause he gave me POWER or peter cause he ripped the piss out of cillian constantly! ;p

... i dunno. rory was pretty cool too... is this the same rory though? red hair... grumpy? went to ctyi as a lad... pulled catrionas hair or some such... or was it he punched her in the face after she pulled his? can't remember the story... twas an old ctyi one i heard from him.... anyway...

adam.. im not sure if you remember me. im clare conroy, i stalked your RA group session two last year, with my cousin colin and the darling eoin and brian. i just sent off a package to roisin (the darling who dumped eoin), to be shared with him. feel free to steal some american candy from her if you want (she should have it in a week). and i see you are moving up in the world... assiant program coordinator? not bad.

im not sure who else i know here, but i hopefully know some of you. and if so, i would love to hear from you. this was to be my last year, after 3 previous years and 4 previous sessions i couldnt wait for this year. but i am here in the states stuck at summer school.

anyway, after sending a package and now reading these posts and looking at pictures i am soooo sad that i am not there. i had forgotten that feeling it gives you. (and you know you miss it bad when even photos of the canteen warm your heart

)....

she's such a sweetheart. you were lucky to have her as an RA.

Hey Laura and D! I completely agree with Laura that Sharon rocked (was the best instructor by far (and don't ask me how I know-It's because I said so!)) As for my favourite RA's from this year- Elaine (such a QTpie!),Dermot, Ciara Loughnan (hope I spelt that right),Stephen and Ciara Greene-they all rocked!!!!;)

Favourite RAs this year were Marion (such a sweetie!) and Dermot.

Last year, Clare (who was back as a TA this year, woo hoo!) and Adam ('cause he's just so cool).

Yeah, Clare rocked! So did Adam and his sexy hair, best RAs last year were Tara and James though, although Breifne rocked aswell.

Chris was good. We all love Chris (because he knows where we live and may attack us)

Also Dermot, because he lived down the corridor from me and probably also knows where I live.

UP LAOIS!!! *finds Dermot's Cavan flag and pretends it's a Laois flag* Yes, we did win the All-Ireland, which I know well given that I'm in the same year as three of the players. Our school rocks, if you don't expect it to be educational, or caring, or anything

he was soooooo cool and he was reallyreallyreally good-looking and he played guitar so well and he tucked my ra group in one night and he came to my room first cos i was the most enthusiastic and i had written "you're wonderful,chris" on my wall with the chalk my instructor gave me for the occasion and he did a porno pose ON MY BED underneath it and i got a photo of it and i SLEPT IN THE SHEETS HE DID A PORNO POSE ON and it was all so good and did anyone realise(other than me and ally) JUST HOW GOOD he looks when he wears a shirt and a tie and baggy trousers all together??WOW!i could go on and on and on about that day when we trapped him in our united bond and followed him around and when we showed up at his ra meeting and when he cut in in front of me at the canteen and then hugged me cos i was sad and when he wore my purple sunglasses and looked SO GOOD in them and wwwwwooooooowwwwwwwww

God that post about Chris being the finest thing since since refined sugar is the funniest thing I've read in ages. It's true, but funny. I tried to get him to dress up in drag for the last disco in session 1 but he wouldn't. Goddam. Eoin didn't take a hell of a lot
of convincing though. And who gave him the skirt??? Chris rocked everyone's world I believe it is fair to say, as did Dermot. (but Chris did look fandabbydozy in the tie shirt and baggies combination)
Ciara Greene also was fab, I don't know that other Ciara (Rory's sister, poor thing) but this one was my RA and she could dance like a slut to any song. I've told her, she's not offended, but my God, Wonderwall, you shouldn't be able to slut dance to something like that. And Jay was cool, but he can't dance for ****. He tried with me, in the last American Pie, maybe too many people had kicked off their shoes

Adam where are all the cool photos you took??? and why comes they're not on the website??? (I'm the *loud* one from Cavan that lost her bag and you tried to insult ,for being from Cavan, on the way to Birr but failed ridiculously cos YOU'RE FROM CARLOW. *falls over laughing into her soup* at least I think that's you or was it Bill of the Hair. maybe both of you.) But anyway, that's not the point. You took ones of Matthew and Jane lying on each other looking sombre, and of me doing stupid things with a pink cap (Anyone remember someone screaming loudly with The Visor of Wisdom on their head. That was me, and my visor) You musta taken some of the Abstract Shapes of Love, if ya didn't ya shudda. When you were on your rollerblades. Trying to be hip.

And was that RA Dermot with the Cavan flag?? And was he mocking Cavan in any way??? Or is that some student from session 2 actually from Cavan??? I need answers people.

And who has the photos of me dancing with Danny at the last disco cos they're bound to be hilarious. I didn't know i could bend back so far that my hair touches the ground and my spine splits in two. But there was lots of flashes in our direction. So who has the photos?? And the ones of me licking people/being licked?? I didn't pose for all them for nothing. I know few people in this thread so noone probably knows what I'm on about. Feck.
