As far as I can see, there is a thriving rock/indie music scene going on in Dublin (wholly supported by Phantom!).

Has anyone got any recommendations for good bands doing the rounds in Dublin that someone who is a ....er... non-Dub could check out ?? :D

Websites, music clips, sample (legal) MP3s, CDs etc. etc. etc.

    - Dave.

Brando have to be one of the tops bands around at the mo. My fave out of all the Dublin bands and there are so many other good ones too.
Wallmark are pretty good. Saw them once and was well impressed. I have to mention a few other bands who really impress me: Polar / Fairuza / Blotooth & Skyjack. There are more too but it's late and I gotta let my brain rejuvenate...tomorrow's another day :)

Thats a pretty vague question - as proved above, everyone has different taste!

I myself would have to shamelessly plug Skylight:

    www.skylightofficial.com

    And Skyjack:

    www.skyjackmusic.com

    Both are great.

Turn, Melaton, Blotooth, Easy all rock!.... but the best of the current crop is Sonora. The song thats always played on Phantom is their worst song. I've seen them a couple of times now. Brilliant. They have a website but I don't know the address. I think they'll be playing at Witnness though. You should check them out.
