1984 Ferrari 288 GTO, only ~280 were built, was the fastest production car (albeit briefly) when it made its appearance. one of the most beautiful cars ever made imo... no picture does it justice.



most desirable car?

1986-1987, Ferrari 288 GTO Evoluzione, built on the chassis of the above and used as a test-bed for the F40... only 5 were built with 650bhp developed from twin turbos attached to the 288s V8, 0-60 in 4 seconds dead.

Guy at the top of my estate drives(as far as i know) the only v12 vanquish in Ireland.....its foxrocl of course. Hes a complete wanker of course, his daughter scratched my dads car and he wont pay for it, cuz he's...errrr.....strapped for cash.

Anyways, im sure some of you have seen it around dublin, english reg, kinda beige-y silver, great car, shame that its always tossers who drive them

yes, it is almost parental. im damn proud of my car because i earned it. i always wanted a convertable and now i have one.

and no, its not expensive, it doesnt have this that and the other.
it cost me 5 grand sterling, its 12 years and its only a 1.6i, but damn it, the roof comes down, its got a cd player (expertly blugeoned in by my good self) and its a rear wheel drive so i can do lots of power slides in the wet.

but yes, i do love my car

Its a 400R.
I have no idea of the specs, but out of the box, it revs up to 10,000 RPM and can waste any super car, with some boy racer tuning and japanese super chips the power would be over 1000BHP but you probably loose all the handling...

That orange concept car just looks like a bog standard opel astra with a crappy boy racer body kit on it adnans

the 400R is a skyline gtr with 400bhp hence the name.. it was a limited edition made by Nismo (similar to Subarus racing arm Prodrive), im pretty sure its 4wd and a twin-turbo (as opposed to the gtrs single) but dont hold me to that

Not a great fan of the R34 myself, too ooh look at me, older skylines are a lot more understated and look much nicer imo.

btw im pretty sure a caterham r500 superlite could beat it 0-60... mmm 500bhp/tonne.

just to add..that astra concept is just a way of getting attention to the astra coupe 888. btw there was a limited edition of 100 replicas of the (btcc winning) astra coupe touring car made by a german company last year, to full btcc specs as well, 4wd, ~300bhp ... think they cost about £80k sterling each... ill try and dig up a picture, pretty sure its in a copy of autosport somewhere.
